Reviewing Letter Sounds using Realia Objects

In a Kindergarten environment, addressing the the different learning styles and incorporating them in your teaching is very important. Hands-on activities and tactile games often address the different learning styles and help retain the learning objective intended.  I used realia objects to help revise the beginning letter sounds.

Laminated Letters set out on the table.

A tray containing realia objects.

A child picks up an object, sounds out the beginning sound and places it on the corresponding letter.

Sh for Shell, Ch for Chain

b for boot

 Have fun playing games.
